Hanson Aggregates Pledges $65K to Build New Habitat home
Lehigh Hanson/Hanson Aggregates, a supplier of cement, aggregates, ready mixed concrete, asphalt and other building materials to markets throughout North America, pledged $65,000 to cover the costs of Habitat's next homebuilding project.
The Hanson House will be constructed during 2016 on vacant property in Princeton.
"Habitat for Humanity of Johnston County is an outstanding organization with a proven track record of providing housing for deserving folks that may not otherwise have the opportunity for home ownership. The Habitat for Humanity group has been an absolute pleasure to work with on the [S. Smithfield St] project," said Alan Burnette, Director of Resource Development, Lehigh Hanson, Inc., parent company of Hanson Aggregates.
