Flowers Plantation 2nd Annual Charity Bike Ride--April 16, 2016. A big thanks to the participants, volunteers from the Smithfield Junior Women's League, and the staff at the Club at Flowers Plantation. Nearly two dozen bikers enjoyed a -20 mile or -40 mile ride through parts of Johnston and Wake County. Following the ride, participants were invited to unwind at Flowers Fest, the kick-off for Flowers Plantation's summer concert series.The event included food trucks, live music, and local beer and wine, and benefited Habitat for Humanity of Johnston County. Habitat appreciates the community-wide support in helping families realize their dream of home-ownership.
